Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Anastasia Kapothanasis, a Westbrook native, recently completed a summer internship in her Portland Constituent Services Center.

“It is always a pleasure to give Maine students an opportunity to serve the citizens of our state,” said Senator Collins. “Anastasia has a strong work ethic, and I was delighted to have her in my Portland Constituent Services Center helping Mainers this summer.”

Anastasia is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Saint Anselm College, where she is the captain of the college’s Division II tennis team.  She plans to pursue law school after graduation.
