SNOWE, COLLINS ANNOUNCE HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES FUNDS FOR MAINE

WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. Senators Olympia Snowe (R-ME) and Susan Collins (R-ME) today announced that Maine has received $879,604 in funding from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. The grant was awarded to the Maine Department of Human Services for Maternal and Child Health Services, which strives for equal opportunity for quality health care in a supportive family and community setting.

"Communities throughout Maine will benefit from the federal funding distributed today," Senators Snowe and Collins said. "This grant will aid Maine's Department of Health and Human Services to enhance their maternal and child health care services." ###
