SNOWE, COLLINS ANNOUNCE $316,667 IN FUNDING TO THE KATAHDIN VALLEY HEALTH CENTER

WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. Senators Olympia Snowe (R-ME) and Susan Collins (R-ME) today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded the Katahdin Valley Health Center in Millinocket $316,667 in funding for a health center cluster.

"This critical funding will allow the Katahdin Valley Health Center to expand in order to better meet its patient's needs," Snowe and Collins said in a joint statement.

These funds will be used to establish a satellite site to provide primary health care services at the Katahdin Valley Health Center in Millinocket.
