Sens. Collins, King Announce More Than $1.3 Million For Maine Veterans' Homes

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Susan Collins, a member of the Senate Appropriations Veteran Affairs Subcommittee, and U.S. Senator Angus King today announced that the Department of Veterans Affairs will award Maine $1,320,404 to help renovate the electronic medical record system at the Maine Veterans' Homes in Augusta, Bangor, Caribou, Scarborough, South Paris, and Machias.

"Maine's Veterans deserve nothing but the highest quality of care, and providing outstanding rehabilitative facilities is central to that important mission," Senators Collins and King said in a joint statement. "These funds will help to do that by improving the medical record system at the Veterans' Homes across our state."
