SENATOR SUSAN COLLINS RELEASES STATEMENT ON PASSING OF HARRIET HENRY

"Harriet Henry was a wonderful friend and an inspiring role model for Maine women. As the first woman judge in Maine, Harriet was a trailblazer who expanded opportunities for women in our judicial system. In addition to her outstanding legal career, Harriet contributed so much to her church, the Maine Humanities Council, and many other civic organizations. Those of us in public life eagerly sought her wise counsel and support.
