Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Susan Collins has announced that Meredith Coolidge, a Yarmouth native, was awarded a summer internship in her Portland office. Meredith is a 2015 graduate of Yarmouth High School and the daughter of Kathryn Cope and David Coolidge.

“Meredith is a terrific student and a hard worker, and I was delighted to welcome her to my Portland office,” said Senator Collins. “It is always a pleasure to give students an opportunity to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve the citizens of Maine.”

Meredith is a rising junior at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she is a double major in political science and classics. She is a senator in the Student Government Association at Holy Cross, and she hopes to attend the University Of Maine School of Law following graduation.
