Bangor, ME – U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Keely McConville, a Yarmouth native, has been awarded a spring internship in her Bangor Constituent Services Center. Keely is a graduate of Yarmouth High School.
“Keely is a hardworking student and has demonstrated impressive leadership qualities through her involvement with extracurricular activities on campus,” said Senator Collins. “I am delighted that she will have the opportunity to continue to develop her skills in my Bangor office while providing invaluable assistance to her fellow Mainers.”
Keely is a senior at the University of Maine, where she is majoring in political science and minoring in psychology. At UMaine, she is involved in the Pre Law Society, Student Government and its Peer Mentoring Program, and UVote, a nonpartisan voter education and registration service on campus. Upon graduation, Keely plans to attend law school and pursue a career in policy, criminal law, and domestic violence.
