Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Susan Collins met with a group of nearly 50 students, parents, and teachers from Woolwich Central School who traveled to Washington, D.C., as part of the school’s annual class trip.

“It is always a pleasure to welcome Maine students to our nation’s capital,” said Senator Collins.  “One of the best parts of serving as Maine’s U.S. Senator is meeting all the great people, especially the students, who make our state such a special place.”

The trip by Woolwich Central School allows the students to tour the U.S. Capitol building as well as other points of interest in Washington, D.C.
