Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Susan Collins met with a group 30 of students, parents, and teachers from Woolwich Central School who traveled to Washington, D.C., as part of the school’s annual class trip.

“It is always a pleasure to welcome Maine students to our nation’s capital,” said Senator Collins.  “I always encourage Maine students to believe in themselves and never give up.  They have the opportunity to be whatever they want to be, including a Senator.”

The trip by Woolwich Central School allows the students to tour the U.S. Capitol building as well as other points of interest in Washington, D.C.
