Augusta, ME – U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Maguire Anuszewski, a Winthrop native, has been awarded a summer internship in her Augusta office.  Maguire is the son of Loren and Kristel Anuszewski of Winthrop.

“Maguire is a hard worker and a terrific student, and I am delighted to welcome him to my Augusta office,” said Senator Collins.  “I enjoy the opportunity to give students the ability to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve the citizens of Maine.”

Maguire is a rising sophomore at Brown University, where he is studying neuroscience and is a member of the University’s ski team.  After graduation, he plans to attend Brown’s Alpert School of Medicine to become a physician.
