Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Kelly Stratton, a Winthrop native, has been awarded a summer internship in her Augusta office.  Kelly is the daughter of Charles and Rosa Stratton of Winthrop.

“Kelly is a terrific student and a hard worker, and I am delighted to welcome her to my Augusta office,” said Senator Collins.  “I always enjoy giving students the opportunity to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve the citizens of Maine.”

Kelly recently finished her freshman year at Norwich University, double majoring in Political Science and International Studies.  Kelly is an active member in her Model United Nations Club and is President of Norwich’s College Republicans Club.
