Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Susan Collins spoke with a group of Westbrook High School students, parents, and teachers who traveled to Washington, D.C. for scheduled singing performances and to take part in cultural and educational opportunities. The students are members of the Westbrook High School Chamber Singers. They gave a preview of their performance for Senator Collins, prior to their shows at the Armed Forces Retirement Home and at The Fairfax, an independent senior living community at Fort Belvoir.
“It was wonderful to welcome these bright and energetic students from Westbrook to our nation’s Capital,” said Senator Collins. “I always love having the chance to speak with Maine students, and I appreciate them previewing their choir performance for me. I am certain the audiences for their formal performances were as impressed with their talent as I was.”
