Senator Collins Welcomes Orono Native to Her Bangor Office

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Jack Lucy, an Orono native, was awarded a summer internship in her Bangor office. Jack is the son of John and Allison Lucy of Orono.

“Jack demonstrated a strong work ethic and made valuable contributions to my office in his previous internship,” said Senator Collins. “I am delighted to welcome him back to my Bangor office, where he continues to serve the citizens of Maine.”

Jack previously interned in Senator Collins’ Bangor office in 2014. He graduated cum laude from Bowdoin College in May of this year with a double-major in Government & Legal Studies and Economics. Jack also received Bowdoin’s 2017 College President’s Award for his contributions to the Bowdoin College Community. This fall, he will be attending Duke University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina.
