Senator Collins Welcomes New Sweden Native to Her Caribou Office

Caribou, ME – U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Lukas Lagasse, a New Sweden native, has been awarded an internship in her Caribou Constituent Service Center.  Lukas, a 2016 graduate of Caribou High School, is the son of Melanie and the late Richard Lagasse.

“Lukas has a strong work ethic and will provide invaluable assistance to my Caribou Constituent Service Center,” said Senator Collins.  “I am always delighted to give students an opportunity to serve the citizens of Maine.”

Lukas is a senior at the University of Maine, where he is majoring in political science and history.  Lukas is currently the president of the New Sweden Historical Society.
