Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Susan Collins met with a group of 20 students and teachers from Mt. Ararat High School who traveled to Washington, D.C., as part of a class trip.

“This phenomenal group of students from Mt. Ararat High School met with me in my D.C. office,” said Senator Collins.  “One of the best parts of serving as Maine’s U.S. Senator is meeting all of the great people, including the students, who make our state such a special place.”

During their trip, the students toured the U.S. Capitol building as well as other points of interest in Washington, D.C.
