Senator Collins Welcomes Cushing Native to Her Augusta Office

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Jonas Stone, a Cushing native, has been awarded a summer internship in her Augusta office.  Jonas is the son of Jason and Josette Stone of Cushing, and he is a 2016 graduate of Oceanside High School.

“Jonas is a hard worker and a terrific student, and I am delighted to welcome him to my Augusta office,” said Senator Collins.  “I always enjoy the opportunity to give students a chance to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve the citizens of Maine.”

Jonas is currently attending Wheaton College in Massachusetts, where he is pursuing a double major in political science and history with a U.S. concentration.
