Senator Collins Welcomes Cumberland Native To Washington For Summer Internship

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Susan Collins has announced that Zoe Atchinson, a Cumberland native, has been awarded a summer internship in her Washington, D.C. office. Zoe is the daughter of Joan and Brian Atchinson.
 
“Zoe is a terrific student and a hard worker, and I am delighted to welcome her to Washington, D.C.,” said Senator Collins. “It is always an honor to give students the opportunity to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve the citizens of Maine.”
 
Zoe attends Colby College where she is majoring in Global Studies with a concentration in Economics.  Upon graduation, Zoe hopes to obtain a job relevant to both public policy and international affairs.
