WASHINGTON, D.C.—Senator Susan Collins is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Alden, a Caribou native, has been awarded a summer internship in her Aroostook County state office.
“Jeff’s academic profile and strong work ethic will be a great asset to my Aroostook County office,” said Senator Collins. “Employing a student intern that was raised in Northern Maine is especially important in meeting the needs of Aroostook County residents. As always, I am delighted to provide students with an opportunity to become actively involved in the legislative process and serve Maine citizens.”
Alden is a 2002 graduate of Caribou High School and the son of Roy and Beth Alden.
This fall, Alden will enter his final year of undergraduate studies at Colby College in Waterville. His studies are focused in mathematical-economics and government. He says that he is looking forward to serving Northern Maine citizens and businesses.
