Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Tess Haller, a Cape Elizabeth native, has been awarded a summer internship in her Washington, D.C., office.  Tess is a 2016 graduate of Cape Elizabeth High School and is the daughter of Jim Haller and Catriona Shepherd, and Sharon Elizabeth of Cape Elizabeth.

“Tess is a terrific student and a hard worker, and I am delighted to welcome her to my Washington, D.C., office,” said Senator Collins.  “It is always a pleasure to give students an opportunity to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve the citizens of Maine.”

Tess is a rising senior at Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she is studying political science.  After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in public service.
