Senator Collins Welcomes Cape Elizabeth Native to Her Portland Office

Portland, ME — U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Madison Sarka, a native of Cape Elizabeth, was awarded a summer internship in her Portland office.  Madison is a 2018 graduate of Cape Elizabeth High School and is the daughter of Gregory and Susan Sarka of Cape Elizabeth.

“Madison is a terrific student and a hard worker, and I was delighted to welcome her to my Portland office,” said Senator Collins.  “I always enjoy giving students the opportunity to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve the citizens of Maine.”

Madison is a sophomore at Boston College, where she is studying political science and economics.
