Senator Collins Welcomes Brunswick Native to Her Portland Office

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Luisa Barry-Hershberger, a Brunswick native, was awarded a summer internship in her Portland office. Luisa is a 2014 graduate of Brunswick High School.

“Luisa is a terrific student and a hard worker, and I welcome her to my Portland office,” said Senator Collins. “I am always delighted to give students an opportunity to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve the citizens of Maine.”

Luisa is a 4th year student at Mount Allison University in Sackville, Canada. She is majoring in political science and Spanish. Throughout her four years, she has been actively involved with her school’s international centre focusing specifically on international politics.
