Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Philip Wich, a Belfast native, has been awarded a summer internship in her Washington, D.C., office. Philip is a 2016 graduate of Belfast Area High School and is the son of Ken and Amy Wich of Belfast.
“Phil is a terrific student and a hard worker, and I am delighted to welcome him to my Washington, D.C., office,” said Senator Collins. “I always enjoy giving students the opportunity to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve the citizens of Maine.”
Philip is a rising junior at Boston College, where he is studying history. Following graduation, he hopes to attend law school. He previously interned in Senator Collins’ Bangor office.
