WASHINGTON, D.C.—Senator Susan Collins visited with members of the University of Maine, Orono men’s ice hockey team last week prior to their departure for their NCAA East Regionals game against Harvard to congratulate the men and wish them luck. The team received the third seed in the East Regional of the NCAA Tournament, held in Albany, New York. Collins is shown here with team captain, Greg Moore. The UMaine team defeated Harvard 6-1 on Saturday and Michigan State 5-4 on Sunday, securing a spot in the Frozen Four. The Black Bears will face Wisconsin on Thursday, April 6.
