Auburn, ME – Today, U.S. Senator Susan Collins, the Chairman of the Senate Aging Committee, visited Schooner Estates Senior Living Community to participate in a meeting with Schooner’s leadership, tour the facility, and visit with residents.

“For more than 25 years, Schooner Estates Senior Living Community has provided living arrangements for Maine’s seniors,” said Senator Collins.  “It was a pleasure to meet with the residents and leadership at the retirement community today to learn more about this great facility.  As Chairman of the Senate Aging Committee, I will continue to fight for Maine’s seniors.”

Schooner Estates is a senior living community located in Auburn. The 10 acre campus offers four levels of care: independent one and two bedroom apartments, assisted living studios, assisted living memory care, and residential care.  This continuum of care allows Schooner to meet residents’ needs, from those who simply want to be finished with shoveling and home maintenance, to those who require assistance with medication management and mobility, and everything in between.  Serving the community since 1988, Schooner’s 120 employees are committed to providing outstanding service and accommodations.
