Norway, ME — U.S. Senator Susan Collins visited the Norway Town Office and Police Station to tour the existing facilities and review Phase Two plans to expand and renovate the police station and create a new community space at the town office.
During her visit, Senator Collins was joined by Interim Norway Town Manager Brad Plante, former Norway Town Manager and current Municipal Complex Project Manager Dennis LaJoie, and Norway Police Chief Jeff Campbell.
“Towns throughout Maine rely on community and municipal facilities for essential services,” said Senator Collins. “The impact of this investment in a new municipal complex will extend far beyond public safety—creating a hub for social engagement, fostering community bonds, and enhancing the overall well-being of Norway and its surrounding communities.”
Last December, Senator Collins successfully secured $850,000 to support the second phase of the Norway municipal complex construction.
