Senator Collins Visits Compotech

Brewer, ME — Today, U.S. Senator Susan Collins visited Compotech, Inc., in Brewer to tour the facilities and discuss the importance of expanding Maine’s manufacturing workforce.

"Expanding Maine’s highly-skilled manufacturing capacity is crucial for driving economic growth and competitiveness,” said Senator Collins.  “I commend Compotech for their significant contributions towards achieving these goals, while at the same time strengthening our national defense."

As the Vice Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee and Ranking Member of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, Senator Collins advanced programmatic funding for critical defense innovation, including new munitions testing technology and ballistic shelters. Compotech continues to be a leader in these initiatives.
