Senator Collins’ Statement on the Death of Senator Jim Inhofe

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Susan Collins released the following statement on the death of former Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK):

“Jim Inhofe was a dear friend and a terrific Senator who was deeply dedicated to his family, his state of Oklahoma, and our country. During the years I served with Jim, there was no stronger advocate for strengthening our national security, and his work to support servicemembers is having a lasting impact on the lives of millions of Americans. My husband Tom and I send our condolences to his wife Kay and their family.”
