Senator Collins’ Statement on Passing of Eldon Morrison and Paul Koziell

Bangor, ME—U.S. Senator Susan Collins issued this statement on the passing of CPM Constructors founder and CEO Eldon Morrison and CPM Constructors President Paul Koziell, who were killed in a plane crash in Arundel yesterday:

“I am deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Eldon and Paul.  In their business, community, and philanthropic activities, they represented the best of Maine.

“Eldon and his wife Dianne have been good friends of mine for years.  They raised a terrific family, built a great Maine business, and have been very generous supporters of worthy causes throughout the state.  Eldon was very proud of his Washington County roots and deeply appreciative of the quality education he received at the University of Maine.  He and Dianne have been great supporters of UMaine and strived to create great opportunities for generations of Maine students. 

“I extend my heartfelt condolences to Eldon’s wife, Dianne, Paul’s wife, Denise, and their entire family.”
