SENATOR COLLINS' STATEMENT ON NOMINATION OF WILLIAM KAYATTA TO FIRST CIRCUIT COURT OF APPEALS

U.S. Senator Susan Collins released this statement following the President's nomination of William Kayatta of Cape Elizabeth to the First Circuit Court of Appeals.   "I am pleased that the President has nominated Bill Kayatta, an attorney of exceptional intelligence, extensive experience, and demonstrated integrity.  Bill has earned the American Bar Association's highest rating, reflecting the ABA's assessment of his qualifications, experience, and temperament.    "Bill is eminently qualified to serve on the First Circuit Court of Appeals.  He deserves overwhelming bipartisan support, and I look forward to introducing him to my colleagues as soon as possible."       ###
