Senator Collins Participates in UMaine Field Hockey Complex Grand Opening

Orono, ME – Today, U.S. Senator Susan Collins attended the grand opening and ribbon cutting for the University of Maine Field Hockey Complex. She thanked the Harold Alfond Foundation for its extraordinary commitment to the education of student athletes in Maine.
“The celebration of this field is also a celebration of this terrific Maine Field Hockey program,” Senator Collins said. “We are all so proud of these amazing athletes who compete at the highest level of collegiate field hockey and who serve as such great role models to girls everywhere.”
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the first UMaine field hockey season.
