Senator Collins Meets with Lieutenant General Timothy Kadavy, the 20th director of the Army National Guard

WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. Senator Susan Collins, a senior member of the Senate Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, recently met with Lieutenant General Timothy Kadavy, the 20th Director of the Army National Guard, in her Washington office this week.

“It was a pleasure to meet with General Kadavy and discuss the great work being done by members of Maine’s Army National Guard, both in our state and around the world,” Senator Collins stated.

“The National Guard offers seamless support and critical capabilities to our nation. As a proud member of the Senate National Guard Caucus, I look forward to continuing to work with General Kadavy to ensure that our National Guard is adequately resourced and ready to respond when called upon to do so,” Senator Collins continued.

Lieutenant General Kadavy previously served as the Special Assistant to the Vice Chief of the National Guard Bureau. He was confirmed by the Senate on March 27, 2015.
