Senator Collins Marches in New Gloucester’s 250th Anniversary Parade

New Gloucester, ME – Today, U.S. Senator Susan Collins marched in the Town of New Gloucester’s 250th Anniversary Parade. New Gloucester’s semiquincentennial celebration comes as the Town also celebrates its annual community fair.
“It was heartening to see neighbors, families, and friends come together to honor the Town of New Gloucester’s shared past, while strengthening the bonds that will make for a brighter future,” said Senator Collins. “I so enjoy celebrating Maine’s rich history, and today’s parade was a wonderful example of what unifies communities across our state.”
The “Happy Birthday New Gloucester” parade featured floats that showcased the town's history and community spirit. Local businesses, schools, and community organizations took part in the parade as well.
