Senator Collins Leads Bipartisan Resolution to Honor Our Nation's Teachers

Washington, D.C. - To honor our nation's teachers and commemorate National Teacher Appreciation Week, U.S. Senators Susan Collins (R-ME) and Sherrod Brown (D-OH) introduced a bipartisan resolution to recognize the important work of teachers across the nation and thank them for their work to prepare students for success. The resolution passed the Senate by unanimous consent.

“America's teachers are among our most dedicated public servants," said Senator Collins. "Every school day in Maine and across the country, educators support, motivate, and inspire our children to help them realize their full potential and achieve their dreams. This resolution honors the indefatigable effort of our teachers and expresses our gratitude for all that they do for our students."
