Brewer, ME — U.S. Senator Susan Collins delivered remarks at Brewer High School’s Veterans Remembrance Assembly this morning. The ceremony was open to every member of the community and was attended by approximately 800 students, faculty, staff, and local veterans.
“Brewer High School has a great Veterans Day tradition of honoring the men and women who serve our county, and I am delighted to join you today,” said Senator Collins. “Throughout our nation’s history, ordinary citizens have left the safety of home to preserve our freedom and to extend the blessings of freedom to others. This assembly is a wonderful opportunity to express our gratitude.”
The event was presented by the Brewer High School Student Council and the JROTC Program.
