Senator Collins Hires Rockport Native to Her Washington, D.C., Office

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Jacqueline Russell has been hired as a press assistant in her Washington, D.C., office.  Jacqueline is the daughter of Connie and Juliet Russell of Rockport.  She previously served as a summer intern in Senator Collins’ D.C. office in 2018.

 

“Jacqueline has an impressive record of academic achievement and extra-curricular involvement, and I am delighted to welcome her back to Washington,” said Senator Collins.  “I know that she will continue to be a valuable member of my team and work hard to serve the people of Maine.”

 

Jacqueline graduated from Camden Hills Regional High School in 2016.  She graduated from Gettysburg College this year, where she studied political science and public policy and competed on the Division III cross country team.  She has also held several internships with federal government relations firms in Washington, D.C.
