Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Trevor Hustus has been hired as a legislative correspondent in her Washington, D.C., office.  Trevor is the son of Katherine and James Hustus.  He previously served as a summer intern in 2019 and as a constituent services representative in Senator Collins’ York County Constituent Services Center in 2020.

“Trevor has an impressive record of academic achievement and extra-curricular involvement.  As a member of my staff over the past year, Trevor was dedicated to assisting Mainers in York County with problems relating to federal agencies, and I am pleased that he will remain a valuable member of my team,” said Senator Collins.  “I am delighted to welcome him to my office in Washington where he will continue to work hard and serve the people of Maine.”

Trevor graduated from Bonny Eagle High School in 2017.  He graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2020, where he studied political science and served as the chairman of the Student Government Association.  Trevor most recently served on the University of Maine System’s Board of Trustees and as chairman of the Bonny Eagle School District’s Board of Directors.
