Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that Tess Haller, a native of Cape Elizabeth, has been hired as a staff assistant in her Washington, D.C., office.  Tess is the daughter of Jim Haller and Sharon Elizabeth.  She previously served as an intern in Senator Collins’ D.C. and Portland offices in 2019 and 2020.

“I’m delighted to welcome Tess back to my Washington, D.C., office,” said Senator Collins.  “Tess has demonstrated impressive leadership skills from the classroom to the volleyball court.  She did a great job as an intern in my Portland and D.C. offices, and I know that she will continue to work hard to serve the people of Maine.”

Tess graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School in 2016.  Last year, she graduated from Assumption College, where she studied political science and served as captain of the Division II volleyball team.  She most recently worked on Senator Collins’ reelection campaign as a member of the finance team.
