U.S. Senator Susan Collins today meet with Patricia Myshrall of Brunswick. Myshrall was recently recognized as Maine’s Outstanding Older Worker for 2007.
Myshrall has been employed as a library assistant at the Bowdoin College Library in Brunswick for nearly 40 years. During her time at Bowdoin she has seen to nearly every task at the library, from repairing books, to reshelving materials, to working in the library’s technical services department.
“I was honored to meet with Patricia,” noted Senator Collins. “She has such a tremendous spirit. I am pleased to see her work ethic rewarded.”
The Outstanding Older Worker award program is presented by Experience Works, a national organization that supports and promotes senior citizens in the workplace.
