As the Vice Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Senator Collins has championed investments in Maine that promote job creation and economic development, improve infrastructure, enhance the wellbeing of Mainers, and protect our environment.  Since Congress reinstituted Congressionally Directed Spending in 2021, Senator Collins has secured more than $1 billion for hundreds of Maine projects across all 16 counties through the FY2022FY2023, and FY2024 annual funding bills.  Senator Collins looks forward to leading this unprecedented success for Maine through the FY25 annual appropriations process.
