Senator Collins Delivers Remarks at Sun Life Office Ribbon-Cutting

Portland, ME - Today, U.S. Senator Susan Collins, Vice Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, delivered remarks at the grand opening of the newly constructed, nearly 77,00 square foot office of Sun Life U.S. in Portland, Maine.

"I was delighted to join the community in celebrating the grand opening of Sun Life’s new state-of-the-art building in downtown Portland today,” said Senator Susan Collins. "Sun Life has already created hundreds of jobs for Mainers, and this expansion will create even more employment opportunities in Portland and surrounding communities." 

Sun Life U.S. is one of the largest providers of employee and government benefits, helping more than 50 million Americans access the healthcare and coverage they need. Through employers, industry partners and government programs, Sun Life U.S. offers a portfolio of benefits and services, including dental, vision, disability, absence management, life, supplemental health, medical stop-loss insurance, and healthcare navigation.

This building can accommodate 860 employees and will be the workplace for many of the current Sun Life and FullscopeRMS employees working throughout Maine.
