SENATOR COLLINS CONGRATULATES MAINER ON PROMOTION TO NAVY REAR ADMIRAL

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Senator Susan Collins is pleased to announce that the U.S. Senate has approved by unanimous consent the promotion of Captain Sean Crean, of Freeport, to the rank of Rear Admiral in the U.S. Navy.  Crean, who is the Small Business Administration Procurement Center Representative in Augusta, is the first reservist in New England to achieve this status.               “I want to offer my congratulations and best wishes to Sean for this important and well-deserved promotion.  I have known Sean for many years and we worked closely together at the Small Business Administration.  Sean has consistently demonstrated strong leadership qualities that serve to enhance the Navy’s mission, and I am proud that he has been chosen to receive this honor.”
