SENATOR COLLINS ATTENDS WEST POINT BOARD OF VISITORS MEETING

Senator Susan Collins, a member of the Senate Armed Services committee, and a member of the Board of Visitors at the United States Military Academy at West Point Attended a Board of Visitors meeting on Monday, July 17th.   The Board of Visitors is appointed under the provision of Section 4322 of title 10, United States code.  It is the duty of the board to inquire about the Academy’s morale and discipline, curriculum, instructions, physical equipment, fiscal affairs and academic methods.  The board consists of presidential appointees and members of Congress.  Senator Collins was appointed to the Board of Visitors in January, 2006.
