The historic courthouse steps in Sagadahoc County, which have been closed for several years because of deterioration, finally re-opened after a major restoration. The stairs project was made possible after Senator Collins recently helped the county obtain a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
A ribbon cutting ceremony took place Wednesday, November 29, in gratitude to all of those who helped with the project. Senator Collins was there to speak about her support on the issue.
