SENATOR COLLINS APPLAUDS OPENING OF TD BANK CALL CENTER IN AUBURN

U.S. Senator Susan Collins today participated in the grand opening ceremony for TD Bank's new, 60,000 square-foot, "green" call center in Auburn. This call center is expected to create hundreds of new jobs in the Lewiston-Auburn area.

"A little more than a year ago, we gathered here to celebrate the promise of hundreds of new jobs. Today, that promise has become reality," said Senator Collins. "Enduring success in business requires top-quality employees, and that's what we have in the people of the Androscoggin.

"TD Bank and Lewiston-Auburn have a long history together, going back some 13 years to the early revival of the Bates Mill. This partnership has grown and the result has been a truly remarkable success. I am confident that this success will continue for many years to come," Collins added.
