After the fascinating bilateral meetings, I met with Fred Hochberg, the president of the U.S. Export-Import Bank, to discuss ways to expand export opportunities for Maine firms. More Maine businesses than I had realized take advantage of the Bank's programs, but it is still a very small number. Fred offered to come to Maine to put on a seminar to assist small businesses.
