NFIB Honors U.S. Sen. Susan Collins As Guardian Of Small Business

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The National Federation of Independent Businesses (NIFB), the nation's largest small business advocacy group, today named U.S. Senator Susan Collins a Guardian of Small Business for her outstanding voting record on behalf of America's small-business owners in the 107th Congress.

NFIB President Jack Faris praised Sen. Collins for "taking a stand" for small business. He noted that Collins has consistently fought for small business since being elected to the Senate in 1996.

"Senator Collins is a stalwart champion of small business," Faris said.

"I'm pleased to have earned this award from the NIFB each year that I've been in the Senate," said Senator Collins. "As a long-time advocate for Maine's small business owners and employees, I'm deeply appreciative of NFIB's support."
