MAINERS INVITED TO SIGN SYMPATHY ALBUMS IN HONOR OF PRESIDENT RONALD REAGAN

Biddeford - Senator Susan Collins is inviting Mainers to express their thoughts about the death of President Ronald Reagan and offer their condolences to the family by signing Sympathy Albums that are available to the public at each of her State Offices in Maine. The Sympathy Albums will be forwarded to the Reagan family following the official month-long period of national mourning.

"Political leaders and people around the world have found ways to express their grief for the loss of President Reagan and to show their immense respect for this great man," said Senator Collins. "I join America in grieving the loss of a great leader, a great President, and a great American, and in offering my thoughts and prayers to the former First Lady and other loved ones. I invite Mainers who would like to extend their own condolences, to do so in writing in these Sympathy Books, and we will make sure their well-wishes are passed on to the family."

The Sympathy Books will be available for written comments during office hours, Monday through Friday, at Senator Collins' offices at:
