COLBY STUDENT INTERNS FOR SENATOR COLLINS IN PORTLAND

Portland- Senator Susan Collins today announced that Adam Marvin of Cape Elizabeth has been awarded an internship in her Portland office this summer. Marvin's primary duty will be to assist the Senator with constituent relations.

"Internships are extremely beneficial in providing students with the opportunity to gain real life experiences," said Senator Susan Collins "During Adam's internship he will be able to learn the inner workings of a congressional office by experiencing it first-hand."

Marvin, the son of Bob and Jean Ginn Marvin, graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School. He is now a junior at Colby College where he is a double major in Government and Philosophy. After he graduates, Marvin would like to continue on to law school and eventually pursue a policy-making position in Washington D.C.
