Washington, D.C. — American Business leaders are expressing their support for the Keeping Workers Paid and Employed Act, a sweeping $300 billion emergency economic relief plan that would provide 100 percent federally guaranteed emergency loans to businesses that are experiencing a sharp drop in revenue due to COVID-19. This legislation, authored by Senators Susan Collins (R-ME) and Marco Rubio (R-FL) would help prevent Americans from losing their jobs and keep small business from going under as a consequence of the coronavirus pandemic.
“We, the undersigned business leaders applaud your efforts to support small businesses during this crisis,” wrote the group of American business leaders. “Small business employers are job creators.
