Advisor to the President Ivanka Trump and Treasurer of the United States Jovita Carranza Join Senator Collins at a Forum on Tax Reform at Volk Packaging in Biddeford

Biddeford, ME - Advisor to the President Ivanka Trump and Treasurer of the United States Jovita Carranza joined U.S. Senator Susan Collins at a forum on tax reform at Volk Packaging Corporation in Biddeford, Maine.  The forum was moderated by former Congresswoman Nan Hayworth and attended by more than 225 small business owners, community leaders, and advocates from across the State of Maine. 

“Ivanka is a passionate advocate for working families and working mothers across the United States.  I have truly enjoyed our discussions, and it was a pleasure to welcome her and Treasurer Jovita Carranza to Maine today to discuss the importance of making our tax system fairer, simpler, and more pro-growth,” said Senator Collins during her opening remarks.  “There is widespread support for reforming our tax code. Reform is not going to be easy, but I want to seize this opportunity to provide our working families and small businesses with tax relief that helps to grow our economy and increase paychecks.”
